Saturday morning, I went out to the James Bay with the crew and hiked out to the Quebec/Nunavut border. No, we didn’t go very far. Most of the water of James Bay are Nunavut territory, while the mainland is within the boundaries of Quebec. Yes, yes. A technicality, really.
There wa still ice out on the waters and the geese weren’t flying much. There seem to be more decoys out than actually nisk. It was nice just to wander out through the marsh in rain boots. A bit chilly but the sun was out. I’m definitely failing the David Suzuki’s 30×30 Challenge, so this is my catch up for the week.
